Riso print is a handcrafted, machine-based printing technique that truly embraces imperfection — and that’s exactly why we love it so much.
This artisanal mechanical process combines the character of handcraft with the precision of a duplicator printer. The beautifully transparent colors require careful, accurate layering to ensure the shapes align just right.
Just like the prints on our garments, each individual print is unique and produced in small editions.
Riso print technique
The ink is based on fairly produced soybean oil and masters Japanese wax coated paper. The machine uses very little energy because RISO printing is a cold printing process.
